Excitement on the Aura-Soma land

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

Aura-Soma keep bees on their land. Last week 50,000 bees left the Aura-Soma hive and flew onto a nearby tree. It means that it is time for a new bee colony to be formed. I was told this by Paul Dicker, the excited and very happy General Manager at Aura-Soma Products. He had helped bring the bees off the tree and into their new home, a second hive on the land.  It means there will now be two bee colonies on Shire Farm.

Paul was clearly excited I asked him what this event meant to him. He said this event made his day-to-day problems seem very small. This move was a miracle of life. Especially so since in recent years bee colonies have been disappearing at alarming rates. This disappearance is called Colony Collapse Disorder and you can read about it on the web.

So it is great news that on Shire Farm bees are moving in the right direction.
